Walgreen's and Taco John have, in the past, used the word "Christmas" in their advertising. This year, I haven't heard any other advertiser doing so. I boycott all businesses that use "Holiday" where the word "Christmas" would make sense. I don't mind referring to Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's as "holidays," but I object to "Holiday shopping," "Holiday tree," "Holiday gifts," etc.

One of the most instructive things about this is to take a little "World Tour" over the span of five minutes or so, using the internet. I did this last year and reported back to FR the findings. It confirmed my sad suspicions (and this article gives further proof).

Here's how it works.

Take a little "spin" --over the next few weeks starting from next week-- to the various YAHOO websites around the world. For example, in YAHOO UK, you will see "Happy Christmas" and references to "Christmas" all over the place.

Rumble on over to Yahoo Singapore and you will see NO SHAME IN CHRISTMAS.

Australia, you say? Well, try YAHOO AUSTRALIA. Look at the various links and specials. Christmas is not being hid under a basket.

Can you read Japanese? You will be suprised to see *KURISUMASU* and MERRI KURISUMASU all over the place. Christmas cards. No "Happy Holidays" crud over there. (And this in a country that is a heavy mixture of atheism and Bhuddism!)

YAHOO KOREA is the same. Koreans LOVE CHRISTMAS. And they don't hestitate to talk about it. Christmas cards, Christmas gifts, MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Everywhere and unashamed.

Well, now take a look at the main YAHOO site for the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

And like me, feel a mixture of sadness, confusion and outright anger and resentment--at what the liberals in our country are getting away with!

I object to "Holiday shopping," "Holiday tree," "Holiday gifts," etc.

Holiday tree makes no sense as no other holiday celebrated at this time of year includes a tree.

Holiday shopping and Holiday gifts on the other hand do make a certain amount of sense as there are other holidays celebrated at this time of year that do include the giving of gifts such as Hanukkah. I would prefer they say "Christmas and other holiday items" to at least give the nod that Christmas is still what the majority celebrates.

Yes, and what exactly makes it a Holiday? Why it's Christmas, the birth of our Lord. These PC idiots are so stupid, they don't even understand by using "Holiday" they are still inferring "Christmas".
