Playing Dumb ain't gonna help Rush in court.

Out of curiosity, what is your take on the questions I posed above?

Sure, but they weren't legal prescriptions and they weren't legally obtained if the smoking gun link is correct.

I hear your argument now I ask you for the gospel proof to substantiate your claim. Is that too much to ask for? Or does Innocent until proven guilty mean nothing to you?

The Rush's legal issues have little to do with his medical state of addiction.

It is not illegal to be, or admit to being, an addict (1st Amendment).

Rush probably had to confess and rehab to avoid getting the jailtime and asset confiscation that a Joe Sixpack would have gotten in the same situation.

Rush leveraged the combination of his addict-victim status and fame to avoid prosecution.

Thus, his admission of addiction is solely responsible for his *not* being labeled a felon.

(It was like a plea-bargain without all the Due Process.)

Rush probably

Probably? Once again you can't state fact. Hopefully you never end up in front of a judge who bases your guilty verdict on "probably" or "maybe"......

HERE

Plus whatever he was getting from his maid. There are emails. Hey, I personally don't care. He's got hooked, I know many people who have, and now he's getting help. My point is that he did what any addict would do.

Elvis Limbaugh went shopping for a doctor that would perscribe drugs to a celebrity. He sent his maid out to perform illegal acts. He hid the truth from his adoring blind fans for years. He lied his butt off for years. He got caught, now he is victim, boo hoo hoo.

Gosh, it must have been a plot by the evil left to turn Rush into a lying junkie, yeah, that's it...

Notice how almost every article mentions his $24 million dollar mansion? What does THAT have to do with anything? At least he paid for it, as opposed to the Clinton's with their 3 or 4 mansions paid for by someone else!

Yep, it can happen a lot like you've described. That's why the primary care physician should be in on everything. And even then, the patient can become addicted. If it's an 80-year-old, there's less concern.

If all you've said turns out to be so, Limbaugh's lawyer is going to be earning his keep.

Along similar lines to what you've suggested, there also seem to be some leaks coming from the investigators/prosecutors. That could compromise their case as well.

That's not "what he meant" and you know it!
I know no such thing . . . if that's not what you meant, I think you cannot be factually correct.

When did you decide that cynicism was intelligence?

Well, the the vast right wing conspiracy Certainly wouldn't "turn Rush into a lying junkie." Therefore, it MUST have been the "evil left"!
