[history]
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Investigators who raided the offices of Rush Limbaugh's doctors said in search warrants filed yesterday that the conservative radio commentator had engaged in illegal drug use and "doctor shopping" for prescription painkillers.
The warrants -- which name four doctors and several prescription drugs -- show that investigators were looking for records, including prescription disbursements, appointment schedules, receipts and a medical questionnaire, when they raided the offices on Nov. 25.

If you're an addict, you're either getting your pills from a multitude of Dr.'s or a pusher. It's as simple as that.

Liz Taylor blamed her Doctors for her addictions as well, as did Jerry Lewis, Elvis Presley.....

The Democrat DA has elected to smear Rush because he hasn't anything with which to indict him.

My husband practices medicine in CA, where several of the prescribed drugs are written on triplicate forms, with one copy going directly to the DEA.

Duh. Agreed.
But even addicts are protected by the privacy laws. How did Rush's pharmacy data become public info?
BTW, each of us has our own addiction/s and the person who says he/she isn't an addict is addicted to a blind spot.

The records are in the warrant and was unsealed today. It's in the public record. Where do you practice law?

Thanks for the answer to how the records are public.
Had to laugh when you asked where I practiced law. The language of law is totally Greek to me and would work better than benadryl at putting me to sleep. I could never be a lawyer.
I'm in the medical field and most aware of the privacy issues.

How did the fire situation turn out? Did they have find who started any of them?Thank you for your concern. You have a fabulous memory. Even after 2 or 3 rains, we still get soot (ash) on our porch and sidewalks which gets tracked into the house.
I think the authorites nabbed a couple of the arsonists, but the fires spread so far and so fast that nobody knows the origins for sure. It was deadly and the back country looks like something from a science fiction movie set... barren, blackened and burnt.
