I just caught it quickly. Did Rush say his attorney was a guy named Black? Is that the same attorney that defended that Kennedy kid? I'm stretching my memory now, Roy Black?

Actually, it was Rush who said the doctors said the hearing loss wasn't caused by his drug use. The Clinic has never issued a formal statement of any kind......as far as I know.
Rush has betrayed a lot of people and it would seem he has yet to take full responsibility for his actions.

Bit of trivia: in the original script, Yukon Cornelius was prospecting for peppermint.Obviously a failed Fed plot to destabilize the gold market. Damn that Fed!

re: His doctors clearly stated at the time of his surgery that the hearing loss was not caused by overmedicating. )))
Perhaps Rush said this...did the doctors make a statement of their own?
To: GOPrincess
I can't say I know for sure, but I doubt there is a lab test that would definitively say that medication did, or did not cause hearing loss. I suspect that Rush could easily have taken any stray opinion and used that for a statement of his own.
One might ask of the doctors around here whether they've ever been made a fool of by a patient.

DO NOT HAVE 1 QUOTE TO SUBSTANTIATE YOUR CLAIM THAT WHILE RUSH WAS ADDICTED, HE ADVOCATED "STRICT PENALTIES" FOR DRUG USERS.
True, but I think that's mainly because trasncripts don't exist of his daily radio show...

I just caught it quickly. Did Rush say his attorney was a guy named Black? Is that the same attorney that defended that Kennedy kid? I'm stretching my memory now, Roy Black? But I thought Rush hated blacks... How can this be?
To: Sloth
Yeah, well, he's only been on for 15 hours of almost every week of the past 15 years, so you can't be expected to come up with a supporting quote, or anything.
Do you generally write quotes down off the radio? If there are transcripts of his show out there, I'd like to know where...

Yes, the doctors at House Clinic said on their own at a press conference that the loss wasn't caused by overmedicating. A Google search would probably bring up the info.

"...who else would use the word "wherein" spontaneously? "
Sorry, I am guilty and on top of that, I also happen to hold a Patent License whereby (see, I did it again) one MUST use 'wherein' at least 10 times every day.

What a very odd thing for them to do, frankly.
