Sail Boston, the visit by tall ships that has drawn millions of spectators in the past, has been scuttled for next year so the city can focus on the Democratic National Convention.

Those in charge should be keelhauled!

If they had any sense, they would tell the DNC to find a new venue, and keep the visit by the tall ships. National political conventions are a nineteenth century relic, made obsolete by advances in communications technology. Now, they are a waste of airtime and little more than terrorist magnets.

Everything must come to a screeching halt for the liberals, because everything is all about them...

Boston has also had the Boston Tea Party ship in drydock for years....they say they can't afford the $ to fix it. Seems to me this icon of American history would be a priority of Boston's. But, no, funding for gay marriage policies are highter priority these days.

Actually, it's a security precaution so they can float Hillary & Teddy into Boston Harbor...

What's the matter?
Can't those elitist "know it alls" in Boston, chew gum and walk at the same time?

I would suspect that they were far more concerned that the limited attention capabilities of democrats would be strained by two events in two months...

Jeeeeze - what a bum decision..
