WASHINGTON - When terrorists crashed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, Dennis Molitor of Home Nurseries in Edwardsville cut short his trip to Washington, where he was lobbying for a plan to legalize undocumented farm workers.
"It all fell apart," said Molitor. "Once we found out what was going on, we figured we were dead for right now. But we didn't give up, because things didn't change. The migrant workers are still here."

In the Senate, the chief sponsors are conservative Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, and liberal Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass. Co-sponsors include Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Peter Fitzgerald, R-Ill., and, in the House, Rep. John Shimkus, R-Collinsville. Know the bill numbers? (I see no specifics in this article, but I have a hard time reading this carefully while I am convulsing.)

If our Congress continues to erode the rule of law, can they seriously feign surprise when native-born Americans begin shunning laws as well?
What's good for one goose is still good for another gander. This has very dangerous overtones to it that these fools need to seriously consider.

HiJinx.
I searched and searched yesterday looking for who owned Sierra Vista Hospital. It is like a big hidden secret as most hospital web sites will tell if the hospital is for profit or non profit. I am assuming they are non profit as they are taking their profits and expanding as most non profits hospitals. From this article, it doesn't look like they are losing money or have any worries about closing.
http://www.ci.sierra-vista.az.us/community%20Profile/facts.htm I have been checking these two stocks today. HCA and UHS. Both of these hospital corporations stocks are increasing.

They may attempt to slip something through during the holiday season. Time to call our congress critters.

"Look: Larry Craig and Ted Kennedy. That's enough to say that this thing should move," Shimkus said. "That's a recipe for success, which means it's not a partisan issue and it bridges ideological gaps and it could very well be the start of overall immigration reform."Time to visit Craig's office and demand my 'free stuff' or a refund of all income tax I've ever paid again.

Congress eh? Yea, they will probably try something shifty and underhanded just out of pure habit. As this "immigration problem" (invasion "problem") plays out, it will make little difference. When the fur starts to fly a few years down the road, it will fly high and bloody. Of course, the criminal traitors in congress responsable will be sitting back on fat retirements. There should be a "special" prison, perhaps in north central mexico . . .

"This is a door-opener, given the mix of supporters - of big business, farm workers and labor - that really could set a model that might be broadened to include other people," said Angie O'Gorman, director of the Immigration Law project for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. Yes its quite a coalition, elites from the NGOs and big business locked in an unholy alliance of greed and lust for power.
I predict this will pass despite the overwhelming public opposition. 5 years from now all the legalized aliens will have left their low paying jobs and gotten better ones. They will have been subsequently replaced by a new influx of illegal aliens. The politicians and NGOs will call it a crisis and tell us we must have another amnesty.
It would all be quite comical if it werent so dangerous.

Tom Tancredo's newsletter stated that congress is having a hard time coming up with money for American veteran's benefits, but the new Medicare bill has a provision to provide one billion for the care of illegal aliens, money to reimburse border hospitals for the care they're forced to provide.
What's the difference if we pay with state money or federal money? Why do we have to pay for medical care for illegal aliens at all? Why doesn't Bush have the courage to send the bills to Vicente Fox? Totally disgusting. They're just making way for the next 10 million to come, at our expense. Time to show Bush and 90% of the Senate and the House the door.

Two years later, hopes are rising again for a plan that could bring an estimated 500,000 illegal farm workers out of the shadows. Separate legislation would legalize millions more undocumented workers.
Durbin and Fitzgerald -blah- CL would you let the Illinois folk know?

I predict in about two days the Post-Disgrace will have an editorial promoting this non-sense.

Oh no, you are quite right, I merely stated that the criminal traitors in congress responsable will be sitting back on fat retirements. I never meant to imply that they should be allowed to KEEP that retirment....
Sorry for any mix up!
