In fact, it has been said right here, today, by GaryL.

By the way, I am vey glad that I am not in college today- having to plough through turgid prose like that little dissertation would cause me to drink mass quantities of alcoholic beverages- starting early in the morning. Much of it hovers just on the edge of utter incomprehensibility, like a schizophrenic on a bad acid trip trying to explain the nature of the Universe.

Perhaps you missed my point: there was nothing original in the editorial by Gary L.; every point was covered by Knight as my post #82 discloses.

Over the past several years there has been a full-court press to inundate the literature with scholarly refutations not only of the conspiracy to kill Kennedy but conspiracy theories in general and convert them into the more malleable and convincing plasm of "urban myth."

Americans have become enthralled by the very mention of the term "expert" and really are more prone to pleasure than serious thought anyway, so what better time than now to end all this silliness?
