Then he pushes through the so-called "Patriot Act" that does more to trample on the individual rights of citizens than it does to quell illegal aliens from entering this country. (It's the borders, George) Next, we have good 'ole Teddy Kennedy authoring Bush's education bill, nothing more than a gift to the NEA. Now, we have this boondoggle.

This is not a true statement. What was actually accomplished was the amalgamation of existing bureaucracies and the potential for rif ing redundant workers. Recall if you will that the Rats fought tooth and nail to support the unions who were going to be hurt as a result.
