I saw your reply, I thought you dismissed countries (e.g. Russia, Indonesia) too casually.

And as I have said repeatedly, the fact that a good portion (>50%) of Muslims are in fact living in democratic societies (often as minorities) is precisely what Bush said. You don't seem to be able to grasp what he said, but you have no problem slamming it.

How can we be expected to hear anything serious when we have so many other things demanding our attention. Just consider; M. Jackson being charged with child molestation (again) - soon to be 24/7 coverage, Rush under threat of money laundering, Laci 24/7, Britney, Victoria's Secret fashion show, Kobe 24/7, car chases, bank robberies, etc., etc..
There's only so much we can take before sensory overload stops all rational thought processes.
