" This is one of the reasons we are hated throughout the world. The world looks at us and say's they have no morals." No, not even close. Those that hate us do so because we stand morally and successfully against the tyranny thats ingrained in their culture. Whether gay marriage is right or wrong, marriage is not threatened by this.

"gay marriage" is an oxymoron.

"IF" the State steps outside of it's moral jurisdiction and gives marriage certificates to 2 or more people from the same sex to be legally married, SHOULD THEY (The State) be entrusted to give licenses that are really bonafide and legitimate? It's kind of like doctors in any given hospital in one room doing abortions, (killings) and on the other side of the wall, in the same hospital heroic rescue efforts to save a child born at 6 months! (That's why we chose home birth! Why even go to a hospital where abortions were practiced? in the same room where babies are suppose to be delivered to loving couples?)Could private citizens just do the 'church' licenses, like they do here in Mexico, "What's the point" getting a license if anything or anyone wants to marry? Can I marry my mule?

OF COURSE IT IS!! Now the definition of parents/husband/wife/father/mother will be redefined. Marriage is under a HUGE attack.

Yippie!!!!
I am thrilled about this decision. Both my son and my daughter are Gay. I didn't make them that way they both were brought up Lutheran completing their grade school years in a Lutheran School.
Wether you believe it or not gays are just plain born gay. It is not a choice nor a lifestyle. Look, do you choose a "hetrosexual lifestyle" or are you just pain old heterosexual because that is how you were born? Neither of my kids were "molested" in any way in their lives which resulted in them turning out gay. That is a fallicy that hetrosexuals like to promote to make it seem like being gay is being damamged. It isn't.
This is the era for Gay rights, the same rights that blacks won in the civil war and again in the 1960's. We have progressed as a nation, from slavery, to womens right to vote, to the Civil Rights era, too protection for Americans with Disabilities. NOW is the era where gays will have their civil rights just like anybody else.
Hey I don't look in your bedroom windows at night to see what you are doing, stay out of my kid's bedrooms and lives. Next you will be wanting them to drink from another drinking fountain and sit on the back fo the bus.
My daughter is a teacher and her partner is a physician and they wnat to get married. They are not huring you no more than the interacial couple down the street.
Don't force your religion and beliefes on others. This is a free country and if two people Love each other and want to marry it should be no concern of yours if they are male/male, female/female, or male/female. Love is what counts. And I see more love and compassion in them for humaity than I see in a lot of you via reading your posts.
It is no wonder you don't see very many Blacks in the republican party, you see even less gays. Pretty soon you are going to figure out that your opinion is a minority opinion.
Signed - A mother with Gay Pride.

"...marriage is not threatened by this."
Sorry, but you're wrong. You cannot remove a cornerstone of civilized society w/o endangering the entire ediface. The cracks have long been there, as piece by piece we jettison our traditions for "feel good' hedonism.
This latest move however is of a type and of an importance never contemplated by any society in history.
This is a sad day for western civilization--and it will effect your family.
