If Rush plays in any celebrity or friendly golf matches, then the question becomes even more interesting.
My mother suffered with chronic back pain for years prior to her death. The act of doing anything as physical as swinging a golf club was never a possibility.

Rush said yesterday that he still has the pain, and might have to have back surgery. He has avoided the surgery because they have to go in through his throat and it might cause damage to his larynx.
