True, when Clinton realized Russia and China would veto a resolution calling for intervention, he backed away from the Security Council. However, he did not subsequently piece together a paltry, handpicked caricature of a coalition, as Bush did for the war in Iraq. Instead, he went through another established international organization—NATO.

Is the author suggesting Bush should have gone to NATO like Clintoon? Russia and China aren't in NATO, so NATO was an option for Clintoon. Bush's opponents in the UN were France and Germany, both members of NATO.

If the author really believes that while France and Germany defied us at the UN, they would have happily gone along with a NATO invasion of Iraq, then he's the moron.

This article is a sewer-full of racist, Serbophobic lies!!! To respond to all of them point by point would take much longer than I have time for.

The bottom line is that the war against the Serbian people was the very worst thing that clinton did, and he did a lot of very bad things that we and others in the world are still suffering the consequences of. Now comes "General Jack D. Ripper" Wesley Clark, the commander of the KLA air force, running on his TOTALLY NEGATIVE record!!!

As for those on this thread who are ripping into Clark for being a "Democrat"--the REAL truth is that he is an amoral opportunist who would be running as a Republican if a non-clintonite Democrat were in the White House! His main loyalty is first to his own ambition, and second to the creation of a New World Order!!
