Actually, the guys in the field are having more successes than the Democrats can stand...
The facts on the ground, are driving the Democrat bastards to distraction... They see their world coming apart...

Our guys are stacking up ineffective "combatants" like cordwood... Killing them like chickens....
The AQ "terrorists" are terrorized..
They are attacking more soft targets, including Arab targets because it is safer for them....
Those cowardly bastards don't want to have anything to do that involves faceing armed Americans if they can avoid it...
Therefore -- the remote bombs, suicide bombs, and RGPs fired from distance....etc.....
Their days are limited, very limited....

The appetizing names they were given....such as "Shit on a Shingle"--- which by the way, I dearly loved and looked forward to.... (Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast)
Or "Dog dick and poop"....which was Franks and Beans...
In the early days, we were actually eating "C" rats that were older that some of the Marines eating them!

Koopman's book on McCoy's Marines is due out in March 2005. Should be good.
I was Bryan's company gunny in another lifetime. He was on my right flank in the Gulf War. He visited me at my pos with his new "A slash" this past summer after he gave up 3/4 and was heading to the National War College.
Bryan has been selected for colonel and will be heading to Quantico after the NWC. He was the best company commander I ever had.
The book is on Amazon now.
