Good Morning and God Bless our troops. Update on my kiddos.
Brad is home on two weeks of R&R. He is doing great even with a few minor adjustments in what is normal behavior outside of a war zone. He is wondering how long it will take him before he once again has a resturant preference when he goes out to eat. At the moment he doesn't care as long as it is hot and not floating in oil.
Stu is now contacting family by email after arriving in country. He said that the Taliban shelled them this past weekend. Taliban papers reporting killing 3 Americans while he said that they missed by a click and a half. Nice shootin Tex! He asked for me to think of something interesting and he would buy something for me. What the heck to they sell in Afghanistan that I would find interesting? I guess a Burka?

Thank you for the update on your sons, and I hope they both know how much we appreciate them. Know you are enjoying having Brad home even for a little while. I wish he didn't have to go back. :( Both Brad and Stu will remain in our prayers.
A burka? Shudder! What a perfectly horrible thing those women have/had to wear.

Morning, er evening or afternoon or something! Is Stu the Marine I met in D.C.? If so, he has a beautiful family and I just fell in love with his son, Matthew!
It was such a pleasure to meet you and the other moms and attend the Rally and FReep with you and the others. Y'all are an inspiration.
May GOD bless you and yours, keeping them safe. Y'all are always in my prayers.
