Read Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges.... and New Testament directives for slaves to return to and obey their masters... or do you just pay attention to the selected passages that you are comfortable with?

You seem to have a problem with understanding that the scripture simply reports the reality of slavery. It doesn't condone it. It teaches how believers are to act in the midst of such human barbarities.

You better study a little harder...you're missing the forest for looking at the trees.
