Jessica has said that she remembers everything from the time that she awoke in the hospital three (?) hours after she was injured. She states flat out that what Muhammed said did not happened. She had very good things to say about how she was treated in the hsopital. The big problem was that they had such crude facilities and lacked supplies/drugs (and maybe skill).

Mohammed lied. Maybe he did so because he knew that Jessica would die from her injuries if she did not get U.S. medical care so he decided to paint a picture that he thought would prompt our troops to rescue her. Maybe he wanted to be seen as a bigger hero than he was so that he and his family could come to this country and he could get a cushy job and a book deal. Who knows.

You don't know who is telling the truth. None of us do. I trust the medical records more than Jessica's memory, or memories of doctors who have reason not to tell the truth if there was brutality occurring. If the medical records state she was raped, I'm going to believe that. Freepers are great, but they are in no way all-knowing. Not me, and not you. When the book comes out, I'd like to see what the medical records say.

If the medical records are actually published (as opposed to simply described in the book), will you believe the medical records? Or will you insist that our military medical personnel would lie, while Iraqis, of course, would tell the truth?

Ok, so when and how was she injured? Apparently after the ambush she was in good enough condition to get down on her knees and pray. When did the injuries occur? If the humvee rolled over on her during the ambush, how could she possibly have gotten down on her knees with all those broken bones?
