BEIRUT, Lebanon, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Authorities in Saudi Arabia have arrested 3,000 people who tried to cross clandestinely from Iraq smuggling weapons and drugs, a report said Saturday.
The Saudi daily al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper, monitored in Beirut, quoted Washington-based "well-informed sources" that the smugglers were arrested over the past three months.

I wonder how many will stay arrested. I don't trust the Saud's as far as I can throw them. They have more to fear if Iraq becomes a Democratic country than other Middle Eastern countries. They have contibuted millions if not billions to Islamcize this nation and they are going to help us? I think they will, but only as long as it benefits them.

An Arabian year is about 10 days shorter than a Gregorian one.

The Royal Family is sitting on a self-created powder-keg.
How long before these clowns realize the HATE that their worldwide, Saudi-funded Madrassas teach to the uneducated and ignorant is going to come around and bite them in their collective, pampered, medieval a$$es?

Woo Hoo! No telling what our intelligence sources have uncovered. Me thinks the Saudis are doing back flips and major sucking up to Bush now that we've got multitudes of evidence showing their blatant support of terrorists. No wonder our President was so emboldened to make a speech about the democratization of the ENTIRE Middle East! Time will tell, but this sure as hell looks interesting.

I imagine that AQ's weapons stockpile is getting replenished with stuff from Iraq. Who knows how many MANPADS, plastic explosives, and mines they pilfered from Iraqi arsenals...

Another possible connection to our somewhat unusual exit from Saudi military facilities?

I wouldn't bet on it. They might decapitate a couple of the leaders to show Bush they mean business, then let the rest off with a slap on the wrist.
It would've been more effective to have simply called in their coordinates to the USAF.

Arrested and probably let go. It's hard to kill a plant when you keep watering and fertilizing.

It may very well be posted somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it, sorry. I saw clips on Fox News.

Thanks for the link. It was a powerful speach and, I believe, an historic one. Everyone should read it because it explains what Bush is really trying to do in the Middle East and why he is opposed so strongly by the Democrats.
Can you imagine in your wildest dreams hearing these words flow from the mouth of any Democrat (Zelll Miller excepted)? It is ironic that the Democrat Party having adopted socialism as their guiding philosphy find themselves fighting against the desire of people everywhere for freedom and democracy and fighting for a status quo that keeps socialist dictators like Saddam in power. A sad state of affairs. A sad, sad party.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully, they are 3,000 less terrorists around.
