After the multiple posts, the point is that I, as a non-smoker, have a financial impact on the resturants which I choose to enjoy. I chose to spend my money only in non-smoking restaurants or a restaurant with a separate smoking area. I may or may not have a larger financial impact that any of you. I am not bragging about what I CHOOSE to spend.
My businesses require constant travel. It is a vacation to spend time at home. I am required to eat out. I like my lifestyle of living on the road or I would not spend money doing it.
In this country the dollar builts and breaks. If you want the Mom and Pop bars to make it you yourself have to patronise them. It is my choice not to eat there or drink there. Those owners can not complain to me because they do not offer what I want or am willing to pay for.
At this point I will say that the marketplace not the government should decide. The super majority vote in Florida on smoking clearly put the dollars into the non-smoking resturaunts, but the voters did it. In Delaware there should be a compromise, allowing exceptions.

No you aren't. You could just as easily go to a grocery store and buy food there and eat it in your hotel room where no one is smoking.
