Sean Hannity has a scoop on dem party corruption (Vanity)
Sean Hannity radio show ^ | 11/04/03 | Unknown Democrat (via Sean Hannity)

Posted on 11/04/2003 1:27:18 PM PST by jocon307

Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.

He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.

Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

Bugging opponents campaign offices is pretty standard too, but ask Nixon how that turned out...

Honestly, this really is politics as usual, but it doesn't make it palatable.

Bottom line, this probably scuttles the chances for an independent investigation, so it's a rather larger Rep. win.

But, I reiterate, what the Dems are doing is not treason; it just smells a bit like treason..

I can't, for the life of me, see the difference.

If Ashcroft wishes to pursue this matter, it could be HUGE.

If Ashcroft chose to pursue any matter, it would be huge.

Why would a RAT leak to Hannity? And what stupid Senator would go on Hannity's show cold - I mean Roberts - and not be able to answer questions. So now we're to who did the leaking. Hannity should get his act together and so should Roberts.

Exactly right. Even if it goes nowhere, the Dems cant use their plan now, and the public will be angered by their putting politics ahead of National Security. I still believe there is more to this.

Great reply and observations!

It appears to me that whoever started this memo (part of Hillary's tactics?) is using Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:

“The first rule of power tactics is: power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.”

“The threat is generally more terrifying than the thing itself.”

“The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.”

Rules for Radicals opens with a quote about Lucifer, written by Saul Alinsky: “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer.”

calls for getting more information made public

Like changing classified to unclassified before the election. Will it help create more dead soldiers? Hey, it's the election that counts - SUMMERY: "intelligence is secondary...."

Granted this is politics as usual.......but in all the years of the Cold War .....the other party never played with this countrys safety........because of their hatred of the sitting President...

This hatred of Bush could get your family and mine killed........

This won't play in middle America.

ALso .. Sean made it a put to tell Sweet Baby James to block out the person who sent it to him when they sent a copy to Roberts. Rockefeller has no clue how Sean got the memo

Exactly right Mo1. Sean has all the cards and he's holding 'em tight to his vest.
