So, what was the point of pulling it off CBS's schedule? It's still airing. Six of one, half a dozen of another.

translation, CBS will sell this monster to the French.
Hallmark must pay for distributing this.
All who are involved must pay.
To: mgist
FWIW, I think Robert Greenblatt's gay, too. Are there any straight folks involved in this? Just out of curiosity?

I'd cancel Showtime if I subscribed for showing this hit piece.

The following are Viacom owned companies. A conservative parents worst nightmare.
Remember Simon & Schuster who paid Hillary $8 million for her book. |
It all makes sense. |

This was my point last night - this is not a true "win" for us; the crap will still air, just on a "sister" network -- one without sponsors that can be influenced.
By shifting to Showtime, Viacom still gets to have their cake and eat it too.
CBS is not necessarily the enemy, in and of themselves -- Viacom is.
Sumner Redstone (Viacom CEO) needs to have his feet held to the fire.
Just damn.
If you want on the new list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

They seem to have a monopoly on stations which air music videos.

totally disagree with you there...CBS was forced to yank it. Many Americans will ultimately cancel Showtime if they air it. Net result, we have spoken, show was yanked. Got alot fo bad publicity, exposed liberal bias in Hollywood, and showed the nation that conservative voices are a force to be reckoned with.

It is time to boycott all things Viacom: CBS, Showtime, SpikeTV, CMT, Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1 and any other business they are associated with. Conservatives can not sit back and talk about how CBS backed down, we must keep the heat on Viacom until they drop the smear instead of just moving it to another part of the company.

Is there anyone connected to this thing who isn't gay or doesn't have an AIDS activist's axe to grind? I'm really beginning to wonder.

I forgot to give credit to Drudge.Network TV just gets more viewers as a rule than Showtime and I feel pretty good about it.
