Michael made that up to make the bulemia charge sound better.

She managed to get just below 120 pounds for a while,
on a 5' 3" frame from what I had found. Then she gained a little
bit back.

She was at her ideal weight for her height.

Michael liked to push the Bulemia theory because it kept him out of jail.
The doctors being sued liked Bulemia theory because they thought it would help them win their case.
The lie got repeated enough, that it took on life of its own.
