Debates among Christians about the Trinity are not new. When the Arians controlled the Christian Church, the Trinity was considered apostate.

I was not debating the "trinity." I was presenting the diety of Christ as an insurmountable obstacle to equating Muslim "Allah" and God the Bible.

Since Christians cannot agree to how many books are in the Bible, it's not surprising that they also disagree about the Trinity.

Another diversion. Clearly the Protestant and Catholic Bibles both have the Gospel of John which I mentioned.

One more time, I'm not here to defend the quirky theology of religions not in communion with the Roman Catholic Church.

Maybe a good burning is in order.

I have posted the official Catholic position, and I stand by it: both Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

As a protestant I prefer a careful examination of scripture. Sola scriptura.

If you want to argue theological quirks, you can go to the religion forum on this website. There are plenty of interesting threads there.

It is intellectually dishonest to prompt a discussion and then bale in this fashion.

I provided you with examples of several denominations that call themselves Christians and don't accept your version of the deity of Christ.

As a protestant I prefer a careful examination of scripture. Sola scriptura.

The Jehovah's Witnesses claim that their doctrines are based on Sola scriptura , and they disagree with your version of Christ's deity. So do the Unitarians, the Christadelphians, the Dawn Bible Students who produced the radio show "Frank and Ernest."

Apparently, your "insurmountable obstacle" has been conquered many times.

One more time, I'm not going to defend other religions; I'm just posting the official position of the Roman Catholic Church.

I agree with the Catholic Church Catechism when it states that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

I'm not here to convince Protestants. We have to agree to disagree on religious issues. This section of Free Republic is mainly devoted to discuss politics, but Jim Robinson has provided a whole forum for Religion.

The Never Ending Story threads have dealt with all your arguments already thousand of times . Please go there to argue religion.
