Sorry, Spunky, I can't get past the driveway in either pic. I firmly believe the driveway connects with Covena Ave. So, if the driveway connects with Covena, in either pic, one end of the house would be facing the street, not an entrance. In pic #2, I see no street, only what appears to be other roof tops.

You are correct An American. If that affair indeed was not fact, Amber's father would have been right out there denying it.

It's my recollection, FWIW, that Amber did not make that denial herself. She called her daddy up at 5:30 a.m. because she hadn't been able to sleep. He made denials for her--one being the denial that "she never spoke to Laci". I don't think the denial was that she never called the Peterson home (left a message), or that she never called the home and spoke to Scott. If Daddy Frye did make a further public denial, it would NOT be Amber who actually did the talking. Maybe someone else has another recollection. I say we still need to see the phone records!!!

The driveway does connect with Covena Ave.

Do you see that little pickup in the arial view picture? Well pretend you are backing it straight out from where it is parked. You would then run into Covena Ave. (That pickup is not pointed towards the old garage doors, it is aimed at the gate.) you just don't visually see Covena Ave in the pictures. You just know it is there.

That end of the old garage with the 2 windows (now the end of the living room) faces Covena Ave. The driveway comes up along side of that section and then curves into where the garage doors would have been. There is a chimney there now and a door so they can go into the (new living room) from the driveway. .

Just to the left of that section with the two windows is the recessed section sticking out to the left (only because of the angle of that picture you can't see it) It has the 3 windows and there is an entrance to the house there. (Which I believe people coming off of the street would use.) This is also facing Covena Ave.

So if you were looking at the house straight on from Covena Ave. You would see that recessed section with the three windows and the section closer to the street with the 2 windows.

Spunky, Spunky, Spunky....You may be right; however, tonight on Fox News, a film clip of Scott and Mackenzie was shown running down a street. Then the clip showed Scott and dog making a right turn, jogging into a driveway. I assume that the driveway was his driveway, and the street was Covena. I could NOT see the front entrance to the house. All I could see was the end of the house that we usually see, which is, I believe, the living room.

Then, there was another film clip of the gate we frequently see Scott going into, only tonight, police were entering it. It is on the left side of the house near the front. The gate is apparently hinged to a brick wall, covered in some kind of viney green growth (like ivy). Do you get Fox? Anybody else see Fox tonight that has been paying attention to this most worthy dispute?

Agreed, QJ! It's mind-boggling to think that we have never seen any close-ups of the front or back entrance of the house as photographed by news media. They always seem to be taking their pics from the street.

In your minds eye rotate this picture so the part with the 3 windows is looking straight at you.

That light grey color you see on the right is the patio cover or carport. The driveway goes toward that, between Scotts house and the neighbors on their right.. (angles of pictures are deceiving.) The pool is more on the side of the house.

Now if that house was turned straight on, and the back is say (north) and Scott was running up the street sidewalk going west, he would make a right turn into the driveway.

Now you say in another shot of Fox news you saw a gate towards the left of the front of the house.

Remember photographers have zoom lenses. Scott could have been on the side where those 3 windows are which I am sure there is a gate there also. So it would be to the left of the house if the picture was taken there. Also they do have brick work running around the bottom part of the house.

See that grey area in the bottom left? that is the other neighbors house left of Scotts.

Like I said, just twist the house in this picture straight on and Covena would run across the bottom of the picture.

I don't have cable so I don't get Fox or CTV.

Okay. I think I know now where we differ. My thought was always that the driveway ran to the front of the house. Now, you're telling me that the front entrance is on the opposite side of the house from the driveway.

Now, I don't believe the "L" with the windows is visible from the street because there is a gate and wall covered with greenery obstructing that view. Are we on the same page now?

Oh Sandylapper, I never thought about it before but it is possible that there is a fence coming out from the side of that old garage (living area) making what is called intering a courtyard at the front of the house. That is the only way you would not see that from the street.

I do know in one of the pictures I saw, you could tell there was like a brick walkway going towards that door in the little recessed area by the 3 windows.

Yes, now that I think of it, a lot of California homes have hidden court yards at the front of the house.
