Geez... so the maid testified that Laci was not really well enough to do much walking, but Amy testified that Laci walked every day... geez...

And that bit with the blinds... if the woman was saying that the blinds were closed on the 23rd, that makes it seem not so out of the ordinary that they were closed on the 24th.

I haven't. But that doesn't mean they haven't done it. BUT I think if a judge banned "recording devices", even though that is not a recording device, such a judge would probably include it in his/her ban. Judges seem to hate for people to bring all this stuff into their courtrooms unless it's being used by the actual parties.

Vinnie Politan said on direct testimony Lee Peterson testified he did not know about the boat or that Scott planned to fish at Bekeley Marina.

Sharon Rocha also testified that Laci during the later part of her pregnancy was tired. On one of her walks in the park she told her mother her almost blacked out. Her mother made her promise not to take any more walks in the park.She last talked to Laci on Dec 23rd at 8:30 pm concerning a dinner to take place the following evening. Sharon said she talked to Scott on Dec 24th at 5:17 pm he asked if Laci was there. Then he said something that alarmed Sharon,he said Laci was missing,this really stuck with her because she thought perhaps Laci had taken a walk in the park and blacked out.On re-direct Sharon Rocha admitted Laci was stong willed and continued to take walks.

The maid said on re-direct that Laci did go grocery shopping on the 23rd and carried in the grooceries herself. She left the towels she cleaned the door with in the mop bucket and set it on the washing machine. She left the mop outside to dry. She also said when she arrived at 8:30am Laci had showered and the blinds were closed.

So Lee knew nothing of the boat or the fishing trip. Wonder what, if anything, Lee had to say about his having talked to Scott the morning of the 24th. I seem to remember having heard that somewhere.

I'd still like to know for how long this "new" older half-sister of Scott's had been in touch with Jackie and her baby half-brother Scott. I mean, she apparently grew up as the adoptive child of someone else, and only met her mother and half-siblings later in her life.

And like so many much-older sisters, wouldn't she have felt indulgent towards her baby half-brother? Of course she would. And maybe her baby half-brother took to visiting her in Berkeley. And maybe he got to know the area in detail. And maybe he had access to a garage or something belonging to his older half-sister's family.
