Though it would have a snow-ball's chance in hell, justices expressing such sentiments as this should be impeached from the court on grounds of subverting the U. S. Constitution which they swore to uphold. I used to have a degree of respect for O'Conner, but this type of comment is treasonous.

And those proceedings should start in about 14 months(if those offenders can't be convinced to retire from their positions), right after the results of the election are certified and those offices filled. It will be time to play hardball before any hope of restoring the Constitution is lost, if it hasn't already.

I know I'm dreaming. :(
