Once again, The Register (foreign website) completely overexaggerates the success of Linux. Wasn't it just last month they claimed Ford Motor was completely switching to Linux, just to have Ford release a statement they weren't?

Now it's "US Army going to Linux", more complete bunk. Check some of these recent headlines to see what products the Army is actually investing in for IT infrastructure:

Why do you assume that we "Linux zealots" universally respect The Register or agree with everything they put in print?

As a matter of fact, I think the editor (whatsisname) is a bitter little Eurosocialist whiner, and view most of what appears on the site with the appropriate measure of scepticism.
