Northern CA (particularly in the SF Bay area) isn't having these fires, and Boxer's support is probably stronger there than in Southern CA anyway.

Don't forget that the Berkeley/Oakland residential fires just recently burnt hundreds of acres and wiped out hundreds of homes. It was a mega-billion dollar fire. Those forests were loaded with dead fuel too.
