Baden, author of three books on forensic pathology, has served as chief pathologist for the City of New York and as director of the Forensic Sciences Unit of the New York State Police.

Alas, he likely doesn't have sufficient credentials to be admitted as an expert witness before Judge Greer. < /sarcasm>

Still sending prayers up for Teri.

This is just to close to home so I have been somewhat avoiding the threads but checking updates/pings.

Micheal is like grabbing a mouthful of peanuts M and M's and after chewing relizing all the peanuts are rotten or finding a worm after biting into a snickers bar. And that is my nice version.

Keep thriving Terri. Praying someone will come along who can free/adopt you so you can have a home and a decent wheelchair with all the trimmings of great care.

I wonder how the statute of limitations applies in this case?

Please keep the e-mails and letters going. And keep them police. They can make a difference.

Baden will say anything to get his face on TV. He's a confused old man who's day has come and been long gone for a while.

The nature of the injuries described makes me wonder if she hadn't been subject to some kind of sado-masochistic abuse, perhaps ritually, over a period of time. Sometimes women get into situations with men of sadistic proclivities, and the result can be a nightmare for them.

Michael Schiavo, Terri's husband, and his doctors won a $1.2 million medical malpractice lawsuit based on the claim that Terri's brain injury was caused by a three-stage progression of a potassium imbalance that caused a heart attack, depriving Terri's brain of oxygen.

I've been wondering who was sued? Who do you sue for medical malpractice when your wife supposedly caused her own injuries by becoming an anorexic and starving to death ---- it doesn't make sense. Self-inflicted injuries don't get you $1.2 million lawsuit wins.

E-mailed ACPD and urge others to do the same. We can't let Terri down now, she still needs us.

I've been wondering about that too. (And btw, FYI, Schiavo's side claims Terri was bulimic, not anorexic. Bulimia apparently can cause potassium imbalance, but some doctors say potassium imbalance did not directly or indirectly cause Terri's condition.)

Larry King asked Schiavo what the malpractice accusation was about, and Schiavo claimed the "malpractice" was the alleged fact that Terri's ob/gyn didn't do bloodwork when she supposedly was having an infertility investigation.

Schiavo claimed that had the ob/gyn done bloodwork, Terri's supposed potassium imbalance would have been discovered before she collapsed.

Just my opinion here, but if Terri someday dies, I think an autopsy ALSO needs to study HOW and WHERE in her brain those electrodes were placed by the so-called 'therapists' Michael claims he hired to 'treat' her.

It sounds more likely to me that electrodes were used to give her an "ELECTRICAL LABOTOMY" to guarantee she couldn't remember her beating, or to satisfy the court's definition of PVS.

I wonder how he won that one --- if the lab work wasn't done, how do they know the potassium wasn't right?

It makes me happy to think how scared and panicky Michael Shaivo must be getting. I think I'll go have an ice cream.
