I have read your post regarding the deep satisfaction you gain when American soldiers are killed at the hand of enemy combatants. I can only reply to you that you are one sick human being.

When you climb off your ivory tower of arrogance and realize you are only seated on your own large puffy arse, you may want to realize the fact that these soldiers died so that you could be a smug jerk and gain some sort of sick, twisted satisfaction about them giving their life so you could waste oxygen on this planet. There's a big rat-eat-rat argument going on DU right now about the A.N.S.W.E.R. position that calls for unconditional support for the Iraqi "resistance fighters".

Several of the DUers are actually horrified that they should be asked to support the killing of US soldiers. But what's really horrifying is the majority of DUers are completely agreeing with the terrorist crap. They say that the US are aggressors, occupiers, imperialists, even thieves and that our soldiers deserve to be shot! I'm not going to post the link but if anyone goes over there you'll see I'm not kidding. I truly hate those "people".

This is the disgusting irony that they enjoy living in a country that gives them the freedom to dissent in such a vitriolic manner. For, if they lived in the countries they wish us to aspire to, they wouldn't even have this luxury. And it is in fact a luxury, for there is no courage in dissenting in a country were dissent is allowed: Courage is dissenting in a country were dissent is not allowed. These pampered premadonnas, sheltered by life thanks to the hard work of their parents and enabled by their brethern within academia, have no idea what oppression or poverty really is. They risk nothing with their rhetoric in a country that espouses freedom of speech...and yet they think of themselves as paragons of virtue for the downtrodden as they actually support their captors. Take your peace protests and anti-war rhetoric to Cuba or N. Korea and than we can talk about courage and the virtue of dissent.

Heard a funny Ed Asner story at the saloon last saturday.

An older lady from El Salvador was talking about the yankee commie celebrities that used to come down there to support the rebels. Ed was one of those mentioned.

She claims they were there because they had no laws against sex with children. They do have those laws now, and no longer have the celebrity commie perverts.

Never been there, so don't know if the story is true...
