Thanks for posting.
I feed my dog California Natural; different company, but I've seen this Go! Natural. Hope the word gets out quickly.

HELL!
I just ate in a Korean restaurant!

Go! Natural is touted in advertising as a top-notch product for dogs and cats that boasts one of the highest meat contents of any pet foods. It retails for $42.99 for a 30-pound bag. Why not just buy the dogs real steak for that price?

LOL. Good one!

You've got that right----large family size pkgs of ground beef would be cheaper and dogs like it better.

The only thing I feed my dogs is ground beef/venison and the occasional eggs. The eggs and beef are quite inexpensive at Costco. It's the best thing for them (they are carnivores!). They also eat our wild grasses when they feel the need and every now and then the actually catch a cottontail on the property. I brush their teeth once a month or so but they get knucklebones to chew on. My vet says I have the heatlhiest dogds in his practice. Dogs don't need peas and carrots and food dyes.

I just ate in a Korean restaurant! Did they wok the dog while you waited? I bet it tasted like chicken!
To: Ribeye
Do you cook the hamburger and eggs..or are they on the raw diet?

Why not just buy the dogs real steak for that price? There are a growing number of breeders who will not sell a dog to anyone who does not promise to feed the purebreed pooch nothing but raw meat.

Good old Canada and the USDA let that Canadian cow that was found to have BSE go for dog food here in the US. That cow was sent to a dog food company in Denver. One can feed a premium brand, the raw diet, or any other dog food one wants; I am sticking with Hill's.

Decent site. Only one thing I take issue with was:
2) Vaccinate as little as possible, if at all (Some states and international quarantine laws require proof of vaccination.)
IMHO, vaccinating your pet is a must, regardless of local laws.
This kind of contradicts the rest of the site about "wanting the best" for your pet.

Everything is raw. We either buy the ground beef at Costco or grind meat at home and freeze it. The eggs are raw but we wash the shells first. Any meat scraps go into the mix. Fish, chicken, game, etc.

They sneak into ground beef and eggs somewhat often, and can be dangerous. Cooking takes care of it, but eating raw meat and eggs can be risky. Most batches are safe, of course, but eating a lot of raw meat/eggs is like playing Russian Roulette, sooner or later you'll get a bad one.

Same goes for raw oysters. I stopped eating them years ago after seeing too many friends get deathly ill from a bad one. After recovering one friend told me about what had happened to her, and I asked her why she hadn't called me for help when she was sick. Her reply, "I wanted to, but I couldn't get off the floor to reach the phone."
