The religion of Islam justifies almost any atrocity done in the name of advancing or defending the faith (read B. Morey's book about jihad in the Quran and Hadith from faithdefenders.com)). After 9-11 the response in the ME was not muted at all. There was open celebration with the honking of horns, hugging, dancing, and the exchange of sweets (done only when some fortuitous event occurs). Read Bernie Goldberg's account of this in his book Bias. It is chilling. At the same time, any attempt by a non-Muslim to defend himself against these atrocities is looked upon by Muslims as the highest form of injustice. After all, the non-Muslim deserves his punishment and the Muslim is protected by Allah. Hair brained, is it not? But you can now understand the dilemma the world is in when it tries to deal with the intractable adherents of this despotic system.
You are also correct in pointing out how Muslims behave themselves when they are a small minority. When they become a significant minority they begin to start trouble. When Muslims are the majority, non-Muslims can kiss their butts goodbye, because here comes Sharia, special tax assesments, employment restrictions, pogroms, seizure of property, etc., all justified by Muslim tradition and canon law, of course. Islam is the antithesis of the Judeo-Christian tradition of individual liberty and ideological tolerance. A lot of people take umbrance with me for saying this, but I've got the evidence to back it up.

Wherre on earth are you getting your info? Sounds like something you'd read in the MSM. Besides, there is hardly anyone more dogmatic than an ACLU-type secularist. And unlike Christians and other religious groups, secular dogmatists are free to spread their propaganda at taxpayer's expense.

Did you ever see me defend the ACLU? I consider them, and the People for the American Way, to be enemies of the USA.

I do not believe I accused of such a thing. I was merely observing that other than Islamofascism, the ideologies which have done the most harm to America are by no means religious, but ideologies on the Left.
