Mark Steyn is good enough to put his stuff on his home page (which isn't maintained for peanuts!) for us to read for FREE.

The least we can do is to give him a page hit instead of stealing his stuff.

Actually, I like it both ways...Mark's Website doesn't have a 'printer friendly' button, so I go to the site and save it as a text file so he does get the page count, but would prefer to save in HTML, which, for some technical reason beyond my comprehension, is most successfully done on Free Republic.

FWIW, I agree about the excerpting, quid. I have nagging conscience problems not going to the orig. site.

pokey, great Steyn piece, on a _most_ important subject.

Also pinged his site! For reference and historical purposes it's good to have intact FR archives.

Okay, I went to his website, gave him the hit, and told him that I first heard of him at FreeRepublic.com and that I heard of his website here also.
