Did not see this posted yet. Looks like things are heating up. The article ends with a very persuasive argument for why Terri would keep her feeding tube throughout any legal arguments.

I also think things are heating up. I think Michael Schiavo made a real a-- out of himself today by so publicly pulling that little stunt with not allowing Terri's family to see her - he is showing his true colors to everyone now. His attorney, Felos should be sharing a cell with Kevorkian. I call them, R.I.P. and The Grim Reaper themselves. I can tell by the way Terri's hands are bent in the videos and news clips of her that there are what is called, contractures in her hands from not getting Range Of Motion therapy exercises - that's neglect. Also, if it's true that she hasn't been outside for fresh air in 3 years, that's also neglect. There's been plenty of neglect and conspiracy going on with Michael Schiavo towards Terri - it's plain as day to anyone in the disability area, a professional or a parent.

Thanks for posting this - it is by far the most revealing we've all had in the past two days. I've been on pins and needles since the bill was signed by Gov. Bush. Quite dismayed that she is back in the hospice. Overjoyed that the abuse/neglect charges are being taken seriously.
Terri still needs our prayers, though!

Excellent article, SeattleTiger, thanks for posting.
Michael Schiavo reminds me so much of the narcissistic psychos that are prevalent in most of Ann Rule true crime books.
CONTROL seems to be the operative word here.
This "hide-in-seek" game Schiavo played tonight by moving Terri back to the hospice without telling anyone is just another example of his psychotic need to call all the shots and to manipulate all people and circumstances surrounding Terri. I think that Schiavo's actions tonight was just a "screw you" message and a reminder to all of us that he is still in charge and still in control.
I read somewhere that Terri was anorexic. I wonder, did Schiavo contribute to her eating disorder? Did he harass her by telling her she was too fat? Could he have been physically abusive and Terri kept it secret from her folks because she was embarassed and humiliated? Is the current "other woman" the first indiscretion?
Maybe these questions have already been answered, I don't know. His actions are beyond the money; even though I believe money is a huge motivating factor in his behavior. Michael Schiavo showed all of us tonight again, what he truly is. An extremely controlling, manipulative, dangerous and evil man.
I hope that some evidence can be brought forward in this investigation that will nullify his guardianship over Terri. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Schindler family.

Thanks for the post. I read the atricle. This is giving me some hope that this monster won't get away with killing Terri legally after trying to do it 13 years ago. The more I read about this case, the more I believe he is trying to get the state to finish the job he started on Terri.
I wanted to put the name of the agency here from the article:
The Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, an agency mandated in states and funded by Congress

As of now, and when medical care was most needed, Michael Schiavo is still making all the decisions.
Terri looks worse today than she did before being moved to the Hospital and back to the hospice.
Please contact others and ask why, during the 5 days BOTH sides have to come up with a guardian, is the side fighting to save Terri not allowed a say in her medical treatment, please!
So what happens when these patients need further care, eg, dialysis that cannot be given there? Then they would be transported to hospital or other facilityIF this is what had been requested and agreed upon by the primary care physician AND THE GUARDIAN.
Michael and the physician will not do this. I believe this is it. Unless Terri is removed right now. Gov. Bush, are you listening?
Good guy media contacts: (cut and paste):
Please continue prayers and contacts.

Well, whaddya know. Someone seems to have remembered the Americans With Disabilities Act. I wish I could remember who I was talking to last week about Terri--that poster and I concluded that while they were (at the time) legally killing her, at least she was assured of a good parking space.
