This is a glaring misrepresentation that must be corrected.
I saw that on their website last night and fired off an email about it. It is somewhat irresponsible of them to post a poll asking people to answer a question that does not represent the facts. Then again, when has CNN ever been responsible?

I called local paper on use of word 'coma' in two headlines yesterday -- today it said 'brain damaged'.
When people know the truth -- that she is not in a coma (hoping for her to be reviving w/treatment now) -- then they realize how wrong this is.
Fox news also participated in this last week...their word was also "comatose"
Done and this is the message I was giving out. Of course it could be revised, etc.
Terri is not "comatose" or "PVS" is was just a ploy by Michael and Felos, and cohorts the "death merchants" to get the ability to have tubes pulled and people dehydrated and starved to death. Please contact CNN:

Morton Plant and Michael doesn't work there, he is a resp. therapist
at Mease Hospital in Clearwater. The address Pam found earlier
is "his Hone" addy. I think I will let the Mease Hospital
administrator know today that I won't (nor will anyone in my family)
be making any trips to their ER or for any other reason and WHY.

How could I allow someone like Micheal Schaivo to ever touch me or my
love ones, when I know he wanted his wife put to death BY STARVATION
and DEHYDRATION? Not happening and I WILL continue to VOICE my
opinion! And so you all know, "Terri is under protection." While
she he is still her legal guardain, he won't be by today. The COURTS
are appointing her one. Not her Michael and not her family.
NOW... Teri will have the IV in to rehydrate her for at least 24
hours, then the Dr will reinsert (surgically) her feeding tube,
unless something major takes place from now until then. She went a
total of "155 hours without any food or water and she is in the best
possible place she could be for right now.
This is not over, but it is a Miracle, Terri is a Miracle!!! And
EACH and EVERYONE of you should really feel real good inside your
hearts tonight/today. Because you were her voice and YOU SPOKE LOUD
and CLEAR! You've all saved Terri's life... read any thing you want
too... everything will tell you, that WE the PEOPLE spoke up in
emails, faxes and phone calls from all over the world and WE WERE
HEARD! We were united and we fought hard for something we really
believed in "Terri's Life!!"
I praise her Family, her Mother, father, Brother and Sister and her
Husband to be, they NEVER gave up on Terri. They are the strongest
people I have ever met in my life! GOD BLESS THEM!! And most of
all, I praise Our Heavenly Father, because I was losing a little
faith and I should have known better. God NEVER makes Mistakes, "We
do" but God never does.
I need some sleep, I was close (TOSSED) down on AOL tonight, but did
get that straightened out, thank God! I'll be up in Clearwater at
the crack of dawn and back here by noon 1 and then some special
things to do and hopefully share with all of you. (if time allows,

written statement issued by Michael Schiavo to the press Monday. The

"We, the Schindler family, wish to respond to the statement of
Michael Schiavo published by the media on October 20, 2003. Mr.
Schiavo's statement is an exercise in self-justification that
completely rewrites the true history of his efforts to have our Terri
put to death by starvation and dehydration.
"Here are the facts that Mr. Schiavo has hidden in his statement:
"Terri, on Mr. Schiavo's orders, has had no therapy of any kind since
the Fall of 1991.
"At a medical malpractice trial in November 1992, Mr. Schiavo swore
to the jury that he would devote any jury award to Terri's care and
rehabilitation and he promised under oath that he would take care of
Terri for the rest of his life.
"After securing an award of over $700,000 for Terri's care, Mr.
Schiavo did an about-face, and has spent the last 10 years in a
determined campaign to cause Terri's death.
"This campaign began within a few months of the malpractice award,
when, in mid-1993, Mr. Schiavo had a 'do not resuscitate' order
placed in Terri's medical chart.
In June of 1993 Mr. Schiavo refused to allow treatment of an
infection Terri had developed, later admitting under oath that he
expected the infection to progress to a fatal sepsis that would kill
Terri.
"In 1995, contrary to his promises to the jury that he would honor
his marriage vows, Mr. Schiavo, who still pretends to be
Terri's 'loving' and 'grieving' husband, began living with another
woman, by whom he has conceived two children out-of-wedlock. He calls
this woman his fianc\'e9e, even while his wife Terri lays starving
and dehydrating to death in hospice for the terminally ill---to which
he consigned her three years ago so that she would receive no therapy.
"It was not until 1998, when Mr. Schiavo hired Mr. Felos, that Mr.
Schiavo suddenly 'remembered' that Terri had made some vague remarks
about not wanting to be sustained on anything 'artificial' if she
became incapacitated.
"When he promised the malpractice jury back in 1993 that he would
take care of Terri for the rest of his life, Mr. Schiavo said nothing
to the jury about Terri not wanting to be sustained on
anything 'artificial.'
"Mr. Schiavo's crocodile tears and his statement that 'I struggle
with' the Court's order to starve and dehydrate Terri defy belief.
That order is the end result of Mr. Schiavo's utter determination to
see Terri dead so that he can marry his 'fianc\'e9e.'
"Even though he has no Court order authorizing his actions, Mr.
Schiavo has not only removed the feeding tube that has sustained our
Terri for 13 years, but has also ordered that no attempt be made to
feed Terri by mouth, even if she could be trained to take sustenance
orally.
"On Saturday, October 18, 2003, one of Mr. Schiavo's team of lawyers
refused to allow our Terri to receive her final Holy Communion. This
lawyer would not even allow Msgr. Malanowski to place a miniscule
piece of the Host on her tongue. Perhaps Michael fears that if Terri
can swallow a piece of the Host, the whole world will know he is
starving a helpless woman who can take sustenance by mouth.
"Mr. Schiavo has spent the great bulk of Terri's malpractice award on
legal fees for Mr. Felos, in an effort to have Terri killed. He spent
nothing on Terri's therapy and rehabilitation---contrary to the
promises he made to the jury, under oath, more than ten years ago.
"We cannot allow Mr. Schiavo's lies to go unanswered. We pray that
God will see to it that justice is done and that our Terri's life is
delivered from the clutches of this ruthless man, who dares to
pretend that he is grieving with us over what he has done to Terri."

You're operating on the assumption that they are merely misinformed. They aren't, they just have an agenda.
Where are the court transcripts of the medical malpractice suit? These are public records. It would help a lot if they were posted on Teri's website for the press and the rest of us to quote from.
What was the basis of the "malpractice" suit? How was Teri mistreated? Who was sued and what for?
While many have heard that Terri Schiavo's feeding tube has been re-inserted, her life is in eminent danger. Michael Schiavo is still her legal guardian. The would-be murderer is responsible for guarding his own victim! In addition when Terri was moved from hospice, he immediately blocked visitation rights at the hospital for her parents, siblings and family priest - the only source of Terri's comfort, love and joy. An emergency motion ordered visitation restored for the family but it was not received in the attorney's offices until 5:15PM today. By the time the family was able to get down to the hospital, her husband had removed her from the hospital and taken to an "undisclosed location" - we are told perhaps back to hospice. In any case, the family has not been informed - they do not know her medical condition or whether the feeding tube has been reinstated or not. An IV was inserted at approximately 9:30 last night. This is a woman starved for 7 days with no food or water yet Michael has the audacity to remove her from the hospital care! It is an outrage that Michael Schiavo and his attorney feel they can spit in the face of the governor, the Fl House and Senate - and trample Terri's rights with absolutely no regard for her health, happines or wishes. Complaints have been filed through the Department of Health and Human Services yet nothing is being done to protect Terri from physical harm or to assure her rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please take a moment and file your complaint with the Office of Civil Rights.
