Thanks for the heads-up, Jean.

The catch is that she's not actually in a persistent vegetative state.

The state can pass any law it wants.
How about a brain scam to verify that vegatative state they are claiming? Bet they may find brain activity if they did.

"I don't believe that the Legislature has the authority to interfere," Felos said. Your client doesn't have the right to take a life. Ahole.

For all those who haven't emailed the Florida senators yet, there's a link on this post (#112)
email all senators that you can use.
It will only take you a minute to send the entire senate an email expressing your views.

That devil, Felos, wil shop it to a judge who will declare it unconstitutional before the ink is dry. I am also concerned that those at the hospice, knowing this is coming, might up the morphine dosage...really up the morphine dosage. After all they can't let Terri suffer.. I believe they are capable of anything.

The bill would give the state's governor 15 days to order a feeding tube to be reinserted in cases like Terri Schiavo's. What does the "15 days" part mean? Does this mean that this bill is a reprieve that expires in 15 days, that it only applies to cases the governor exercises in the next 15 days, or something else?
To: JohnHuang2
The tube was removed Wednesday. As of Monday, doctors estimated Terri Schiavo would live little more than another week. One has to wonder what additional permanent damage has been done to the body and the brain by withholding nutrition for the past five days.

Thank God. Thank you Jeb, but this isn't over. I can't beleive they are waiting
another day to pass it . Terri needs hydration-
NOW!!! HURRY UP!! DANG IT!!!!EVERYBODY BETTER PRAY HARD THAT TERRI MAKES IT THROUGH. I heard one of the "doctors" say she had "begun they dying proccess." I don't like the sounds of that- considering they are giving her morphine. Terri's parents and family better go to the "doctors" and staff at the hospice and "make it real clear" that Terri better survive through to tommorow or else ..

I certainly hope this bill includes language prohibiting anyone removing the patient from the State of Florida.

Praise God!
Let's hope and pray it is enacted before MORE harm comes to Terri from her "husband."
Bet Michael is now quivering in his "safe house." :)
