10/18/03 -- Jeb's Emails to FR poster, summer, today, re: Terri. (And, a Message to Michael Shiavo)

According to the statutes, the insurance company that paid out to Schiavo, is a "person".

That timeline starts in 2000.

I'd like to know what measures the Schindlers were taking between 1993, when their request to have Michael Schiavo removed as Terri's guardian was denied, and 1998, when Michael filed for the tube to be removed.

Rumours have been flying aroun the internet and people are getting things mixed up. This summary on one page seems to be the most accurate.

"Judge George Greer: Ruler of the Kangaroo Court set on killing Terri Schiavo. Impartial? Not in the least! Worked side by side as county commissioner with Barbara Sheen Todd (county commissioner) for eight YEARS. Barbara Sheen Todd is on the board of the hospice. I don't think there is any question that the Schindlers have been given some bad legal advice and that they may be a bit impresionable. Does that absolve Jeb Bush of his duty to uphold the laws.

The major problem I have is with Judge Greer. I believe he is the one who could have put an end to all of this death wish nonesense and taken a look at Terri's Medical condition himself. Then he would have seen that she was bing neglected by her gaurdian and that he was testifying falsly about her medical condition. He has testimoey from 6 docters who said she could get better with treatment. One docter who said she is being murdered. He would not accpet the testimony at all, neve has accpeted any testimony that she could recover. Does he have a bias.. why yes. he is a right to die advocate and believes that is all this case is about.

She is not brain dead , in a coma or a vegetable. She could have recovered with therapy. He would not accept any medical testimony that she was responding to threatment or could be tested, could communicate, etc.. Why not ask her if she wants to die? He would not consider that.

Is it or is it not Jeb's Duty to out a corupt judge? This woamn is having her life taken from her because the Judge thinks she is a vegetable and that she deserves to die. He is using the guardian's word that she said so.. he has no proof of that, if fact he said otherwise years earlier that he needed th malpraictice money torehab her at home. Then less than a yer later started having her feedin gtube removed instead..

I understand that it is the parent's responsibility to fend for them selves at some point, but WTH do we have governement for if it is not to step in when a crime is being commited against a defensless disabled person? Is it not a corime to take someone's life against their will when they have commited no crime? It is a lw in Florida that a Disabled person can not be neglected. But Terri has been for many years now, but that seems to be oaky with some peopel because the parents were savy enough to know howto stop it.

Shame on us for having gotten to the point that defensless, unsavy people deserve to be tourtured and starved worse than we treat our animals.

If my child is maintained on a respirator and it is concluded that he will never come off of that machine, would it be "murder" to decide to take that child off the respirator? Should the governor be called in to prevent the father from taking the painful course of watching his child die? I would suggest that was a family matter. To be consistent, you would have to call for state intervention.

You're missing a key point here. A feeding tube or a spoon is not a respirator or a life-saving medical device.

In fact, Terri could be fed with a spoon until Schiavo had her moved into his lawyer's death factory (hospice) and had all rehabilitative therapies stopped and all of her nutrition provided by the feeding tube. No more spoon-feeding. No more therapy. By Shiavo's actions Terri became entirely dependent upon the feeding tube for her nutrition. And, now, he's had the feeding tube removed.

Can you see now how this situation is different from those that you've stated? And that Schiavo is likely a murderer?

I'm so ill prepared to express my outrage over this violation of a woman's right to live. I thought in this day and age a woman was not to be treated as a slave or chattel to her husband, especially in the fight for life.

President Bush liberated Afghani's from the Taliban. He liberated Iraqi's from the brutal depotic dictator, Saddam, but he does nothing to liberate this poor innocent woman from execution?

I am so distressed and appalled to think that this great nation, a nation created under the first and primary foundation that God gives us Freedom and no man can take it away. Terri's Freedom to live has been ripped from her by her husband and a black robed judge. Her only crime: brain damage.

Lady Liberty is indeed crying. Her beacon is dimming. She has been banned from sheltering the weak and infirmed. The old and handicapped.

May God continue to Bless this Great Nation, but I wonder if He will even listen to our cries anymore?

Judge George Greer not legally a Judge in his current capacity
"Also, Judge Greer did not qualify to be on the 1998 ballot because he did not "qualify" in the statutorily prescribed 5 day period. Not only that the Attorney whom he retained who was Chairman of the Board of the Hospice Suncoast was the one responsible for ammended the law for "removal of feeding tubes" and he continually lied in both state and federal courts (check the transcripts if you don't believe me) and said Terri said "No tubes for me!"

Jeb stumps for George Bush while Terri is dehydrated and starved to death

Terri still needs your help, keep up actions and contacting others
for them to contact others in media and in gov. etc. to stop this
madness. Terri has been being dehydrated and starved since 8AM Oct.
15th.

On Sunday, October 19, 2003, as the round-the- clock vigil continues
for Terri Schindler-Schiavo, protesters have arranged a
demonstration to show their dismay at Florida's Governor Jeb Bush.

Volunteers for the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation have learned
that a group of Republican demonstrators are planning to shred their
voter registration cards and officially change their party
affiliations in order to call attention to the Governor's refusal to
intervene on behalf of Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

Governor Bush has received more than 130,000 petitions to intervene
on behalf of the disabled Pinellas County woman since July of this
year. He has been instructed by 7 distinguished legal experts that,
not only does he have the authority to act, but that he also has an
obligation to take action.

Mr. Bush, during his Gubernatorial race in Florida, called himself
a "Champion of the disabled".

On other fronts, Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski, who has been Terri's
spiritual provider for over 3 years, was told he may not administer
to her the sacrament of Holy Communion. Monsignor was informed by
police at Hospice that he would be arrested if he tried to
administer the Catholic woman the sacrament.

In a statement to the press, Michael Schiavo's attorney, George
Felos stated that the reason for this was that he didn't
want "anyone to do something that would cause Terri distress".

Demonstrators will be convening at Hospice Woodside at 10.00am on
Sunday. At that time, there will also be Sunday Worship in Terri's
name.

If you would like to attend, Hospice Woodside is located at 6770
102nd Avenue North in Pinellas Park, Florida.

P.S. Please attend! People are wanted there at 10:00AM.

Also if you have contacts in Washington D.C. protestors, etc. are wanted at the Whitehouse at 3PM.

Gov. Bush I know respects life. The LAW is so bad. When it appears most involved in making decisions "for" Terri over the past 13 years are accomplices, how to take on the whole Florida Judicial system, the press, the right-to-kill culture that advanced farther than many had realized in the post Roe v. Wade era?

Laws will change because of Terri. People will fight. This woman is now a martyr. Her enemies have no idea how they've empowered her by forcing her death.
