I became active in Republican politics as a 16 y.o. via TARS (Teenage Republicans) in September of 1972.

President Nixon, around that time, found himself becoming involved in a teensy-weensy bit of intrigue, the details of which, we would learn more about later.

It was a great time to be involved in politics!

Wow. So did I, although it was in 1968. We used to call ourselves the TAR-babies. (Teen Age Republicans).

We used to go on ski trips to the Pocono Mountains, and to basketball games, etc.
