Finally, something worth reading! "The travesty of justice here was manufactured with the enthusiastic assistance of the Schindlers' legal team." I wouldn't say it was consciously manufactured fecklessly, it just turned out that way with the difficulty of getting past Greer who has set his jaw to put Terri down and be rid of the injustices he's issued. It does not appear that the attorneying on Terri's behalf has been competent. However, I do believe the Thomas More Center reccommendations are workable. The lack of police action on the abuse of Terri that showed up on the bone scan is not a closed door ... malfeasance in an investigation can lead to a case being resurrected many years later and done right the second time around. That would appear to be grounds for the governor stepping in via his State's Atty General. Should there be provable abuse (and poor detective work a decade ago doesn't mean it is a shut case), then Bush would be in the right to halt this order to dehydrate her to death, while the appropriateness of Michael Schiavo being the guardian is resolved. Additionally, judge Greer may be culpable thus his rulings suspect.

"The legal office has been talking to people trying to find some strategy where my office can intervene in a different fashion that will yield a different result," Bush said Thursday. "So far we have not found that option."
So there you have it.

It is now confirmed. The cowardly scoundrel has simply dismissed the very advice he solicited.

What Bush is saying translates to, "No votes for me!"

PS: Just received from a source I shall not disclose: "Terri is dying right now, has spiked a temp"

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

The Schindlers' legal team insisted on arguing the law. Unfortunately, the law of the state of Florida gives all the cards to Michael Schiavo.

They could've argued in favor of Terri's equity interests. Even the dumbest first-year law student knows that an argument in equity will frequently succeed where there isn't an argument in law.

It does not appear that the attorneying on Terri's behalf has been competent.

Understatement of the year. Between the incompetent lawyering, and the nutball "liquid plasma remote healing therapy" stuff, it looks to me like the people allegedly "helping" see the Schindlers as another set of rubes.
