The poster on that Guardian thread "InKind" has rapier wit. He's slaying Democrats/liberals. Worth a read just for those posts.

The offending web site is at
Guardian Unlimited and it was posted by "Started by SimonF at 08:42am Oct 15, 2003 BST."
If you guessed an action similar to Pres. Lincoln vs. J.W. Booth you gessed correctly.

Oh great, a thread about a thread! Now, let's get real post-modern - somebody start a thread about this thread, pleeze!

I hope some folks out there will dispatch this Guardian thread to O'Reilly, Hannity, Boortz, Liddy, etc...people in this country need to understand just what kind of deranged idiots we are dealing with of the left end of the spectrum.

This article below was in Best of the Web Today:
We Get Results
London's Guardian has removed from its Web site an online discussion we noted yesterday on the topic "Is it time to assasinate [sic] George Dubya Bush?" Actually, we don't know exactly what prompted the Guardian to take it down; it's possible that the headline of this item should read "The Secret Service Gets Results." But now the Guardian has a new discussion in which people are claiming that incitement to murder is "free speech."
BTW, for those of you who don't know, I'm the one that posted the thread that got pulled (it was pulled 2 minutes after posting, but mhking still got a JD ping in before it was pulled!).
