A conservative might start a new site, but it never gets more than a couple thousand members. Many of those are Nazi's or KKK members. When you promise total freedom of speech, sure enough they say just about anything including racist crazy rants. It appears to be the only answer is to regulate these "utilities" to be more fair.
I killed my FB account a couple of years ago for a few months and received all kinds of hell from family and friends. I just used it to sign on to other sites that take FB and Twitter logins. Now Drudge has gone to the dark side and I have to look for real news elsewhere. Maybe Trump could start his own site after his 2nd term. I'd sign up!

Yep. Everybody was touting gab, but I looked & want nothing to do with it. Much of it really *was* fringe nazis & white supremacist.

Very, very few of those are actual 'nazis' or kkk morons. They are leftists/socialists/communists attempting to keep people away. Seems to work well for them.
