Sen. Steve Daines says he'll return to Washington D.C. by private jet on his daughter's wedding day if his vote is needed to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
The Montana Republican said in a statement to The Associated Press that his Republican colleague, Montana congressman Greg Gianforte, "has come to save the day" by offering him use of his private jet.

Trump should send out a working SR71.
Send an SR 71 and don’t have any dems working on it before departure.
Feinstein and Schumer are now checking with the Clintons, to see if they can have the jet shot-down, blame it on the Russians, and then cancel the vote for an extended DC funeral - and lack of clear majority.
There are no SR-71’s anymore.
To CR,
great minds think alike.
Trump’s private 757 or 767 with daughter and new son in law on board for the ride of a lifetime would be good. Pre position it in Montana Mr President with the engines warm and ready to go.
The SR71 is at the Smithsonian. I dont think Daines can withstands the G’s at mach speed LOL
Well then have the much discussed Aurora project make its first public appearance. :)
Not even at Davis Mothan?
Are there any?
His vote is going to be needed and a Senator who puts his own personal issues ahead of the nation isn’t worthy of being a Senator.
That’s above all of our pay grades.
any idea how long it took to prep one that was flyable let alone one which hasn’t been operational in decades?
these were not Chevy’s that you just gas up turn the key and drive.
No, but if we did it would take months to restore and there are probably no active-duty pilots left that are certified for that aircraft. Plus it uses special fuel and specialized maintenance people who are no longer around. Not going to happen. An F-15 could get him back in a reasonable amount of time but the press would howl about Trump misusing Air Force assets.
Whatever Daines flies on should have a ring of 24/7 effective security starting just about one hour ago.
There are no SR-71s anymore.
Sure...thats what the Russians and the Chinese think, too.
No kidding.
Probably a couple of fighter jets flying at a very high altitude as not to be seen by the naked eye.
