I think the yellow dogs were the Reagan era conservative Democrats (although the term “boll weevil” was also used); the blue dogs were the Clinton era conservative Democrats.

The good part is that most of the yellow dog rats have switched over to the Pubbie party and we can thank the Good Lord that they finally were able to figure out the current Rat party!!!
