Those who say Trump is a Democrat is incorrect
If you think about it Trump stop being a Republican when the Bushes came into office. Trump was a Republican when Reagan was President. Trump was lost for a while but came back to become a Republican against when Obama became President.
Trump is basically anti Bush/Obama. Any Conservative would be anti-Bush/Obama. Maybe he was way ahead of a lot of Conservatives who took so long to realize this
I think that’s right.
Also, as a NYer, it is often the case that one changes party to vote for the candidate of choice. Sometimes, in the past in NYC, a more conservative Democrat ran for office against a liberal Republican. When I was a kid in the silk stocking district, my representative was a wild-eyed liberal Republican. So, I’m sure more conservative types would reregister to vote for a candidate of the opposite party.
But you can’t tell that to freepers - they just don’t want to hear this story.
