Have you heard of the phrase "my word is my bond"? Oh wait, normal rules of behavior do not apply to "The Donald". Why the beck should conservatives put their faith in a guy that casually and blatantly lies to them on TV without batting an eyelid?

Oh, I see. You think that your party does not have to abide by any agreement but Trump does. Once you guys stop abiding by the agreement, Trump was no longer obligated to honor it. It was not a suicide pact.

Charitable giving to the poor and needy has nothing to do with conservative activism. Liberals give to the poor and needy too

Let me lay some knowledge on you. A conservative donates his/her own money to a good cause. A liberal donates someone else's money to a lost cause. I would think that is something you can relate to.

The question simple enough. And the answer was straightforward and unambiguous. To put it simply Trump LIED between his teeth as we are now finding out. Conservatives will be foolish to trust a man that ALREADY is lying to them. Its highly likely Trump will Welch on his grandiose campaign promises if elected.

Oh puleeze! Bill Gates is liberal, and he has given more of his own money to charitable good causes(like building hospitals in Africa) than anyone else over the past 15 years. By far.

The only lie is yours. And the only foolishness is on your end to think you don't have to honor your end of a deal and yet expect the other party to die by honoring his end the same deal. If you think it is a shortcoming to not allow yourself to be played by another party, cruz is your man. After all, his excuses for voting for TPA is that mcconnell played him, right?

This is so easy:
NEW YORK (AP) — Caving to intense Republican lobbying, presidential candidate Donald Trump ruled out the prospect of a third-party White House bid on Thursday and vowed to support whoever wins the party's nomination — a U-turn made easier by his position at the front of the field.

There is no “ifs” or “buts” about it.

Even more damming:

“I will be totally pledging my allegiance to the Republican Party and the conservative principles for which it stands” he said at a press conference in New York City. “And we will go out and we will fight hard and we will win.”

Trump added that the RNC has been “absolutely terrific” and “fair” since he became a presidential candidate.
I see no circumstances under which I would tear up that pledge,” he said.

Yep.. it’s funny how GOP leadership wants the opposite of what GOP & Conservative voters want.

Reminds me of Obama.. whatever is the right thing to do, you do the opposite.

When they say Cruz is the electable conservative, do they mean Trump is unelectable and conservative or electable and liberal?

Give it up Joe...I’ve been asking the trump koolaid drinkers for months to show me one thing he’s DONE, not just said, that demonstrates he has sincerely held conservative beliefs. Closest thing to an answer was one of the trumpeter swans telling me that I should watch The Apprentice.....yes, really.

They are all hell bent on electing an allegedly conservative version of Obama.

In all fairness Smoking....
Chip did leave out a “charitable” organization that Trump has given to in post 19...
Trump has given between $100,000 and 250,000 to that “yugely” charitable organization called The Clinton Foundation.

I’m sure Trump was only giving to the Clinton Foundation because of their charity work! Not to curry favor with the Clintons or because he liked them so well! /sarcasm

In before JoSixChip and the other Trump supporters come here to tell me that...
Trump was really a lifelong conservative...he was just a business man in NYC

To use their snarky comments to call me a
GOPe, cheap labor express globalist

To use their group think mentality to try to make us believe that...
Trump is the only person that can beat Hillary...
Trump is the only electable candidate
