Pat Buchanan, Phyllis Schlafly, Michelle Bachman, and many others are definitely NOT on the Left and they are against TPA/TPP. Pat Buchanan has always been my go-to source for lining out the impact of free trade agreements, not the Left, as you insist.
TPA makes the other trade bills possible. It is the enabling legislation. Without TPA there could not be a TPP and the other toxic trade agreements. That is why there is such an effort by Obama and his Boehner/McConnell team to pass TPA.
So, TPA is a new phenomenon then?
