Nothing new here; it’s Romney’s 47%. It will take a generation to turn that around, and that’s only if as a society we were willing to begin the turnaround today. The only way to win national elections going forward is provide candidates that inspire every single conservative voter to run to the polls, and to be willing to so skewer their candidates, regardless of what we will be called for doing so, that depress the 47%’s turnout.
