I like Ted Cruz, but giving speeches isnt the same as accomplishing something. Even his famous filibuster was only symbolic, the legislation in question passed. So, lots of show-boating, but no legislation to point to, nothing of Obama repealed, etc.
But he among the most consistent voices for conservatism out there, which is a good thing.
To contrast him with Walker, Walker has defunded and defanged the public employees unions in Wisconson. And done some other good things. Hes going to sign right to work, so hes more my style of talk less, do more.
Failed analogy from the git-go!
It's like you're comparing Tire Irons and Oranges.
Walker's job, with respect to this analogy, is a piece of cake, simply sign the bill. He already has a Republican legislature.
Senator Cruz's job, however, is all uphill. It's like trying to get 100 executives in a room, to agree with your ideas, while 45 of them have pledged themselves not to, and another 20 or so, hate your guts privately agree with the 45. On top of that, you have a Chief Executive who belongs in the group of 45 as an obstructionist.
Complete an utter fail on this analogy Jack!
Now, if you truly want to compare apples to apples, compare their fidelity to conservative policies and their fighting spirit and their leadership on conservative policy issues of the day.
If you do an honest and objective comparison on those characteristics of their histories, Senator Cruz wins hands down.
CRUZ or LOSE!
It’s true that Gov and Sen are different jobs. I still say Walker has accomplished more in his than Ted in his. But he’s been there a bit longer, too.
Walker has done a lot to lead, including denouncing the unions when they were going crazy.
As for Walker having a GOP legislature, that’s true. Cruz is part of the majority in the Senate now. Can he pass bills?
