“Bhagwan Shree Kashkari”
Excellent. I’m stealing that line.
The ony sort of politician possible is one at least as stupid and uber-liberal as the jewish NY carpet-bagger that is retiring.
That’s interesting. I had the same thought.
I haven’t heard from TJ for a while. What’s he up to these days?
just what we need - another bay area idiot.
The obvious GOP candidate is Darrell Issa, who’s strong enough to stand against billionaire envirowacko Steyer, Gavin Newsom and Villaraigosa put together. But I kind of like Issa in the House for now where he’s effective, so how about taking a look at Paul Chabot? he’s focused, he’s been publically vetted, a military and LE veteran, a vote getter and election upsetter, having lost his bid for Congress in November by only 3500 votes. He should be very popular in conservative south and central Calif as well as northern Cal. imo he deserves a much closer look by the RNC

Romney got 37% of the vote in California, and no GOP candidate for President has gotten a majority in 25 years, so to me, that means California is lost for a little bit longer. Maybe three decades.
Why waste time on it? The more Demorat it becomes, the sooner the state will fail, the sooner it will turn around.
Vote with your feet, folks, the other one doesn’t count.
Are they trying to say Senator “don’t call me ma’am” isn’t a tech senator?......:)
Please use often and aggressively.
No smear is too small for fake Republicans. Or fake Conservatives.
Too young, too green.
Issa would be the right pick; he would be the adult in the race.
In a better world it would be McClintock, but Tom doesn’t have the So Cal recognition.
And Issa is not who we think he is. Lois Lerner still walks the land a free woman. Explain that.
What needs to happen now is that leaders of the tech industry come together and draft the Silicon Valley candidate.

Yeah; and you can bet your booty, and the house cat, that whoever it is, he/she will be a Liberal.
The California technology industry has a rare opportunity: An open U.S. Senate seat from the Golden State.
Seems to me that one that represents the people should be the goal.

Geesh cripplecreek; you are so narrow-minded.
(LQTM.... j/k)

I agree. And, no GOP Presidential candidate should spend one dime on TV ads or any campaign effort in CA. Use that money in States we have a chance of winning. Now, the Establishment says: “We need the Party Standard Bearer to go to California and campaign; it helps the lower ballot candidates in the GOP Column.” Screw them. If they want to be in politics, let them get out of that septic tank and run for office in another state.
Issa is not who we think he is.

True. I’m beginning to think that Darrell Issa is becoming a media whore just like Trey Gowdy, who did not even have the balls to show up for the Speaker vote. He ran and hid like a little girl.
I so much agree with this. The California GOP simply enables and legitimizes the Demorats corruption there. Step away. Let them run it. In 20 years it will all be Compton Ca.
I’ll be sure to. It’s too much of a gem to neglect.
WSJ mentioned Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo and formerly of Google.
Top 10 Obama bundler, wealthy and able to raise additional huge money.
“T.J. Rodgers”
Surely he’s campaigning for more H-1b visas like he has in the past.
He’s part of that Silicon Valley group that says why pay American IT professionals when you can have them train their imported replacements.
“Issa would be the right pick;”
Absolutely not.
Issa was a member of the GOPe gang that trashed Tim Donnelly and openly supported Neel Kashkari for governor. That’s Bhagwan Shree Kasahkari in Regulator’s inspired naming.
If we don’t promote Tom McClintock or someone like him we might as well give up.
You have a good point. I’d forgotten that.
Since I threw the stinking hit piece mailer in the trash as soon as I saw it, all the names on there didn’t stay with me. Other then the Bushes, who had no business inserting their squeamish noses into a California campaign. Donnelly was making headway with his theatrics; Brown wins all the time with crap like that here.
Guess they depend on that.
Anyone who runs is going to be beaten on by the likes of Zuckerpunk and the Google gangsters. They want a twinkie like themselves. Whoever it is needs to be the real thing.
