In the dark of the night, two weeks before Christmas, the GOP consummated their betrayal of our trust. We voted them a majority for the next two years, and they thanked us by a backstabbing so heinous, that it moved the seismic needle on the Democratic party

Why stop at 1 trillion...lets go for 2. The sooner we take this thing down for good, the better. As my dad used to say, when the police come to the whore house, everyone goes.

I now think Bonehead is more dangerous than Obama. We simply have to replace him as Speaker of the House on January 6 before he sinks our ship of state.

My Rep. is a conservative, and voted No.

Don’t know who you guys put in office. Maybe some folks here need to do their homework next time or run themselves.

Then it is time to rally. Time to march. Time to water the tree of Liberty.

For a corrupt government will never cure a corrupt government.

Rand Paul On Shutdown: "Even Though It Appeared I Was Participating In It, It Was A Dumb Idea"
I said throughout the whole battle that shutting down the government was a dumb idea. Even though it did appear as if I was participating in it, I said it was a dumb idea. And the reason I voted for it, though, is that it's a conundrum. Here's the conundrum. We have a $17 trillion debt and people at home tell me you can't give the president a blank check. We just can't keep raising the debt ceiling without conditions. So unconditionally raising the debt ceiling, nobody at home wants me to vote for that and I can't vote for that. But the conundrum is if I don't we do approach these deadlines. So there is an impasse. In 2011, though, we had this impasse and the president did negotiate. We got the sequester. If we were to extend the sequester from discretionary spending to all the entitlements we would actually fix our problem within a few years.

I don't think we did. We gave them an unequivocal opportunity to put up or shut up. They've possibly just handed the presidency to Elizabeth Warren. Unless, that is, some constitutional conservative comes forward and figures out a way to reverse the damage John Boehner, his cronies, and probably his blackmailers have done to the US.

Really? Do tell us more. Please expand and clarify this point. For example, how exactly did a vote for Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) contribute to the destruction of our republic?

p.s. liberals fail to capitalize and punctuate properly online. And 0bama uses the word 'period' too. Hmmm.

Conservatives march?

We are the laziest activists there are. You will get 10,000 excuses as to why people don’t have time.

If it doesn’t involve something as easy as a phone call or an internet post, it might not happen. But the thing is that we HAVE to start doing this stuff. Doing next to nothing and then sitting on the internet complaining that no one listens to us is not a plan.

My rep Mac Thornberry voted for cromnibus and endorsed it. I voted against him twice btw but he won by such a landslide margin that it didn’t matter.

___

I don’t think it’s a matter of falling for their lies. As usual, we had basically three choices: 1) democrat, 2) republican or 3) don’t vote. With a democrat you know what you’re going to get. With a republican you ain’t sure but the odds are not good. All bad choices. And, as Cronkite used to say, that’s the way it is.

This is my point exactly.

#1) You assume I don’t work. After two 16-hours marathons of a day job and a home business, I do “try” it very well, thank-you.

#2) Far too many people on the right assume that all of those people on the left don’t work either. I can tell you for a fact that the ones that I know that actually do go to rallies work as well. Some make 6 figures.

But hey, you got better stuff to do. Have fun shaking your fist at a computer screen, because that will totally get the job done every time. /s
