Hillary Clinton is taking issue with Sarah Palin's interpretation of the Democratic presidential front-runner's book, "Hard Choices."
Palin addressed Clinton's new novel on Twitter Monday.
"Look who fired the 1st shot in the real 'war on women,'" wrote Palin, a former GOP vice presidential contender. "Hint: it wasn't the GOP."
Palin included an excerpt from Clinton's new novel that described how President Barack Obama once asked her to criticize Palin's candidacy.
However, speaking on "Good Morning America" Tuesday morning, Clinton said Palin's claim was inaccurate.
"Well, thats not exactly what I said. What I said was that in beginning the process of working with then-Senator Obama after I ended my campaign, we had as I describe in the book an awkward but necessary meeting to clear the air on a couple of issues and one of them was the sexism that unfortunately was present in that ... campaign," said Clinton, who ran against Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary.
"That very first day, the Obama campaign said, 'Well, we want you to go out and criticize her,'" Clinton added. "I said, 'For what, for being a woman? No....

SARAH 1 HILLARY ZERO
Hillary is going to be 100 times as easy to upset accusing her of lying than 0bama. Not only will she not be able to take it as well, but she has a virtually unbroken record of lying.
My suggestion would be to launch these memes as a preemptive strike. And keep them coming. Out Alinsky here.
“Me thinks thou doth protest too much.”
The problem serial liars have is that no one believes anything they say. Really, is anyone going to trust Hilary’s word?
Sounds to me like the hildebeast just confirmed Sarah’s remarks ;’)
Can I ask a stupid question?
What was the sexism which Hillary describes in the 2008 primary campaign? Can anyone give examples where Hillary was criticized for being a woman, treated differently than other candidates because she was a woman, or subject to biased media coverage because she was a woman????
71% of the women in prison in Pakistan are there because they were raped. Hillary sought to give Pakistan billions of more dollars without saying a word. That’s the real war on women.
Big eyed “oO” Hillary looks bad politically, on Dianne Sawyer’s interview. Like a nervous rooky, and Sawyer appears openly UNimpressed, during those squirm moments.
Hillary will not run.
Expect fauxahontas to get pulled in.
Do you realize Cruz could annihilate Hillary “oO” in debates?
A sort of quote from "Year of the Rat" published back in 1997 about the witness accounts of the Clintons. The comments were attributed to Bill.
The women in Libya and Syria certainly aren’t better off after 4 years of Hillary. They are much worse off.
One woman I can think of after bill and Hillary’s years of “public service” is Hillary ..... To the tune of over $100 million .
Hillary will become the victim of a vast right wing media micro-aggression conspiracy.
Cruz could probably take on Daniel Webster or Abraham Lincoln, much less Hillary or Elizabeth.
Yes, that’s true. But complacency cannot be allowed to take root and grow. As we have seen, for some reason the American people have come to accept 0bama’s constant lies about each and every topic that comes out of his mouth. I believe this is Hillary’s deepest vulnerability and the chanting should start NOW, with extreme prejudice. The way you do this is to start forcing her to tell her story a hundred times and in those times, the lies will emerge. And telling it 100 times will reveal different lies to different people.
Like even MSNBC is believing that .....
Sarah was just in a long line of women Hillary had a role in attacking. There was Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broderrick, Gennifer Flowers, etc. All of whom were either “nuts or sluts” according to the operation Hillary Clinton helped to run to destroy the various women her husband had inappropriate encounters with.
My liberal acquaintances are scared to death of Cruz’ intellect and presentation skills.
Read his bio on Wiki and you’ll see why.
and we have a lot of very competent conservative republican women lined up to shoot holes in her bogus war against women claims. as evidenced by this exchange.
That is not to say that as the season approaches some time next year, she will not re-assess. She is not a good campaigner and the electorate could lose interest just out of sheer boredom.
Then too, as First Lady, her polling was inversely related to the amount of face time she was getting in the news. The more we saw and heard of her the less we liked her. When she disappeared for awhile her ratings would improve. In another full blown presidential campaign with little competition, it would be easy for her to be overexposed.
